Today I want to share with you, the spring summer 2015 collection of Dubai-based, Lebanon born designer Dima Ayad, who launched her fashion label back in 2010. Dima Ayad designs clothing that celebrates the female form and her collections always include several wardrobe must haves. Her designs are popular amongst fashionistas and often appear in the major fashion magazines.

Her SS15 collection, which she showcased during Fashion Forward Dubai season 4, is all about feminine cuts and simplicity. The color palette includes colors like lilac, silver and navy blue. Darker colors are combined with pale nude colors and whites. I really like the all over print used for this collection which resembles flower petals or animal scales. It is very dynamic! The silhouettes and shapes are very feminine. I adore the loose, flowing and voluminous fabrics which Dima combines with tightly fitted items. This collection is all about contrasts; dark and light, loose and tight.
My favorites (featured in the gallery) include an ensemble with a long, fitted black skirt, combined with a flowing, bell shape top. I also love the poofy pants combined with tightly fitted crop-tops, which would look great with flats.

With her designs Dima Ayad has found ways for you to celebrate your female form. You can create or ‘disguise’ curves by wearing loose and flowing fabrics. Make sure you emphasize your best features by adding fitted items to your look. Example: If you have a slim waist but fuller bottom you can create a beautiful figure by wearing a fitted top and loosely fitted pant or skirt.
